A New Year—Time For an Internship!
A recent survey found that graduates who had been in an internship fared far better in the job market than their peers who hadn’t – whether it’s in their major or not.
It’s never too early or too late to start looking for an internship. The Career Services Center Internship webpage www.sbc.edu/career-services/internships now hosts a large number of listings of local and abroad internship opportunities you can explore! Seeking academic credit for your internship? All Internship for Academic Credit forms must be completed and turned into Career Services by the Deadline: Friday, January 27th.

The staff of the Career Services Center would also like to share the great news that a new Campus Student Employment Coordinator/Office Manager has started in our office. Alison Crehore, formally of the world renowned SBC Riding Center, brings a wealth of experience working with Sweet Briar students and a strong set of administrative skills. Alison will continue and enhance a tradition of customer service excellence to the office and is excited to bring her expertise to bear as we work to build an even better Campus Student Employment program to our students.
