Wayne has over twelve years of solid commitment to teaching, education, and student development augmented by administrative and managerial experience in corporate human resources and higher education.
Before coming to Sweet Briar College in March of 2001, Wayne served as the Associate Director of the Arts and Sciences Placement Office at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Prior to that, Wayne was an Assistant Director at the University of Kansas’s University Career and Employment Services. Wayne also has taught a variety of subjects at the primary, secondary, and collegiate level and has worked for First Virginia Banks, Inc., now BB&T, as the their corporate EEO Administrator.

Native of San Antonio, Texas, Tandilyn brings with her a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of students, an enthusiastic and vibrant personality, and strong experience working in a variety of higher education settings and student focused positions. Before coming to Sweet Briar, Tandilyn served as the Transfer Evaluation Coordination Supervisor at Liberty University.
Prior to that, Tandilyn was a student development specialist for the College of Education and Human Development Dean’s Office at the University of Texas San Antonio. There she gained a deep knowledge of student development and marketing of academic programs.
